Owlcat

Owlcats are creatures that are commonly used as pets. They are great hunters of rodents but have a tendency to wander for days on end and when they are at home they mostly ignore their owners. The problem with owlcats is that they are such good hunters that they rarely need an owner. Owlcats will use their owners homes, mostly, for a safe place to care for their young.
