An ogre's skin is often similar to the environment they live in, but this color adaption is developed over many generations, so it is slow to change. Mountain ogres (which most of them are) develop a tan or brown skin, while the more rare swamp ogres usually have a greenish tint to their skin color.

Summary

An ogre is a large humanoid creature known for their appetite for human children. Ogres are seen a an immediate threat to almost every other creature and therefore are almost always met with hostility.

Origin

Ogres are mountain dwelling creatures. The Barrier Mountains are said to host many tribes, but not much is known about them. Ogres do well at keeping themselves hidden from creatures who are not allied with them, which is most other creatures.

Meat is the primary food source for ogres, and they will eat absolutely any kind of meat they can find, even other ogres. Although they are known to have a taste for young humans it is a rare meal for them due to the danger in finding and hunting one down.
